To those who dream of or have night terrors about aliens, what do you think this signifies about our subconscious minds and our waking life? The dream dictionaries' definitions don't expound much on the topic. Why do you think we are often terrified of aliens in dreams while we are open to meeting them in waking life? What do you think the different themes mean (abductions, probing, telepathy, being put to sleep, etc.)? I am just curious because I had the wildest night terror dream last night, and I'm trying to sort through why my brain is randomly going off like that. I'm sure the main reason is because I've been researching the alien phenomenon lately, but there's probably other stuff?
P.S. I am not trying to say that true abductions are dreams. Also, as far as I know I've never encountered an alien.
