I saw Communion back in high school, and while the special effects where nothing to write home about. the story was certainly compelling.
Years later, I got around to reading the book, and it seemed like something was there.
However, I did not follow up on his works until recently. When I got given a large collection of audio-books. That included several of his works. A mix of horror and what seems to be true life, or at least he claims it is.
But I have not heard much about him otherwise.
What is the general take on his work? Is this sci fi horror. Just something to freak yourself out on over a dark night? or are there truths in the work?
