Many advanced civilizations who have visited us obviously have developed in technology far more than us. What we forget here is that they're advanced spiritually as well, meaning they have higher compassion and love and respect. Unless a civilization has a peaceful societal norms, the growth of science or technology is hampered, as the mind tends to focus on several different issues which directly impacts the productivity of that civilization.
What I am wondering here, is why these beings who are known to be peaceful, do various kinds of experiments on the people of this planet, by abducting them? From several encounters I have read, this causes radiation related diseases in many abductees. This again directly contradicts that these beings are peaceful as they're harming or inflicting pain in another being. I realize they probably want the best for us, but why do something like this which can be potentially fatal for many.
