So I was sitting on my back porch with my iPhone 8 Plus propped up recording a random part of the evening sky in slow-mo at 240fps. It had been recording for about 4 to 4 1/2 minutes when I happen to glance back over in the general direction my phone is recording and something shiny catches my eye and I glance a little more directly in that. I didn’t think anything about it at first, assuming it was a plane but as I looked at it, it didn’t look like a plane so I kinda studied it. The longer I looked the more I realized it wasn’t plane shaped but a round circle of light reflecting off of something that looked silver-ish. So I pick up my phone and try to move the camera around to catch the object but it never appears on screen. Right at the end of the video I zoomed in to and back out from 3x. I was really excited though so it’s kinda all over the place at the very end. I’ve scrubbed slowly back and forth over the section of video where it should’ve appeared and there’s nothing there. I was literally looking back and forth between my phone screen and the object in the sky and I could see it but my phone didn’t detect it for some reason. I can upload the video if anyone is interested in seeing if they can find something that I missed.
