According to Tom Delonge of blink-182 and “to the stars academy” the tai-ping rebellion was an intervention by aliens who are always instigating wars between us humans so we never sit around long enough to notice them among us. Hong Xiuquan was a bright kid who lived in a rural village in China. Due to their cast system he would be doomed to live in that village forever unless he could pass the Chinese civil service exam which had a 1% passing rate. If he passed it would also raise anyone he knew with him, so the village was betting on him (talk about pressure). When he failed for the 3rd time he was so distressed that he fell into a trance where an old bearded man gave him a sword and told him to rid China of demons then a middle aged man taught him how to slay demons. He awoke from the trance and thought nothing of it for three years until around the time he took the exam for the 4th time his cousin pointed out a pamphlet on Christianity where he recognized the men in his vision as god and Jesus. Going on to amass over 1 million followers fairly quickly due to good circumstances and almost over threw China causing the bloodiest civil war in history. If true, does this mean that the archetypal character Jesus of all the old texts was an alien and maybe some of the magical events in the Bible were actual events? (Water into wine, resurrection)
(God is a very nuanced character so I’m really only focused on Jesus. God is always presented as omnipresent so I don’t think it would be correct to classify it as a single being. More of an accessible consciousness)
