The virus that shall not be named is a massive plan designed by the world governments to redefine the Human genome and create an Alien-Hybrid race to bolster its lost population. It's possible the beings we think of as Aliens are a robotic life form designed to spread their creator's seed through the universe by finding host planets with intelligent life and slowly manipulating it to resemble its makers an easy way to colonize space with minimal effort. We know that mRNA vaccine can affect human genes. And the announcement of Aliens all of a sudden may correspond with the return of the actual makers of humanity. And it will result in a new revolutionary leap for humankind. Due to the vaccine's effectiveness, all who refuse to conform to get vaccinated will eventually die out, effectively creating a version of the biblical rapture. And it's entirely possible all the religious texts flat out tried telling us this, but our race could never truly understand the concept behind the plan until now. Basically, the idea behind it is to survive a catastrophic event, so the great filter never affects your civilization because we multiple like rats, something we Humans do well. I'd love an open discussion on this, and any questions, I'd probably be able to come up with an answer.
A basic one would be why not just put it in our drinking water or through the air? Probably because Gene manipulation requires a concentrated dosage too much or too little could have negative side effects.
