I've had to stop and think about what I'm writing several times because I'm concerned with how I will sound... ridiculous, silly, crazy etc... but because what I just saw, I'm encouraged to share my 10 second story. Nevertheless, I've been following this sub for several weeks now due to the uptick in discussions and coverage via the mainstream media with regard to UFOs, aliens and the like. Suddenly I find that in conversations with friends, family, colleagues and even coworkers this topic is being much more broadly discussed.
With that in mind, my wife and I went out shopping for our daughter's birthday and grabbed dinner after. Now, in my prime I've had my fair share of tequila and seen all kinds of shit. But after only two beers at dinner, we called it a night and when we arrived home, my wife and I walked our nanny out. After a few moments of discussion, I looked up and saw this incredibly bright light - almost orange - that seemed to cut across the sky as if it were just a street over from me... kind of like a firework. I tried to process what the hell it was though I stumbled because it was silent, vivid and yet it seemed to incredibly close. My initial thought was shooting star... but again this was so bright and seemed so close and it disappeared, not in a flash, but as quickly as I had noticed it. What was most odd is that it seemed to appear suddenly and as soon as I saw it - it essentially vanished.
By the time I yelled "what the fuck was that" my wife and the nanny both looked and saw nothing. So I'll ask you - what the fuck did I just witness?!
