Why are depictions humanoid? They are us from the future rather than extra terrestrial?

Just watched a presentation of Jeremy Corbell (https://youtu.be/4s1b6pOTJ08 49:15) where he shows a picture of an alien that Bob Lazar drew. Bob says he saw it in one of the files while at S4. Two eyes, limbs, probably a heart, mouth, neck, and maybe more. In short - humanoid looking.

Many other reports also suggest humanoid looking creatures. Some say smaller like kids, tall like gods, longer limbs etc. But still essentially a variation of homo sapien form aka Humanoid.

THE BIG QUESTION - Why would/should an extra terrestrial creature be humanoid? More likely that it wouldn’t.

Going back to a fundamental point by most scientists believing in possibility of alien life - there are billions of galaxies with billions of stars with tens of planets and many satellites, so probabilistically there has to be life out there.

But most probably the alien planet would be different in composition, atmosphere, gravity, light etc from Earth. So most likely sentient life would have evolved differently, communicates differently, interacts differently and manipulates its environment differently.

Example: what if a civilization emerged on a planet that mimics conditions of deep oceans. More probable that life would evolve like deep sea creatures than humans on a planet like that. What if life evolved on a gaseous planet? Surely they would view/speak/move/interact and manipulate their environment differently than humans. They wouldn’t need eyes like ours, or vocal chords if telepathy is a thing, or legs if they live on a gaseous/liquid world. Scientists say even if we were to redo evolution on earth, it’s highly unlikely that sentient life would be humanoid looking. It just so happened.

If we are believers that there is alien life, then we have to think about the fact that they would be most likely different from us.

If we are claiming Bob Lazar is true, then we need to think about why the creatures look so like us. Either that or bob is lying.

Let’s assume he is saying the truth - Then it’s more likely that these are humans evolved far out into the future. Now they can be either time travelers or humans that left earth a long time ago to a different star system. The likelihood of a different life form evolving exactly like humanoids is very slim.

This or there’s whole lot of shit lies being circulated for UFO mania and fun.
