I am not the best, but I'm also not the worst. I have taken this subject seriously for years (almost a decade) and have trudged through the muck of disinformation, con artists, and crazies, to get to where I am today, re: my beliefs about aliens. I have not only read documents, watched documentaries of all sorts, and read innumerable accounts -- I have also interviewed and spoken directly with prominent Ufology figures, including hypnotherapists and abductee support group leaders. I do not claim that my beliefs are fact. I feel that that needs to be said. They are my opinions but they are based on years of independent research. Feel free to give that however much credit you feel it deserves. I admit that it's imperfect, but this is Ufology, folks. You take what you can get. I'm sure other long-time UFO enthusiasts can relate. That being said, here is a brief summation of what I believe to be the most accurate description that can be given of what is actually going on. I have gaps in my knowledge, much of what I think I know could actually be wrong, and I am far from perfect, but I think I'm close, so here it is:
Earth is a hotbed of interest for multiple ET races, for multiple reasons. We are like a cosmic petri dish. They (multiple races) have had interest in us for millennia, possibly even creating us by genetically altering pre-existing hominids, but it was not until the development of nuclear technology that they took a newly-found keen interest. This also could have signaled previously un-interested races (like the greys) to suddenly notice us and become interested. Their reasons for caring vary among races, but generally, the concept is that we are an important planet with ongoing projects which are important to these races, that they have been covertly implementing, and so they have a vested interest in keeping us alive, even despite our own warmongering nature. This is true for the races like the greys, who want to exploit us, and for the races like the Pleadians, who presumably want to spiritually and socially elevate us, but dare not intervene unless absolutely necessary. Both types of aliens race -- good and bad -- have reason to be covert, and to keep us alive.
The greys are the most prominent ET race. This is because they abduct humans to create hybrids. Why do they do this? Theories abound, but the gist is that they actually covet humanity's capacity for emotion and (as corny as it sounds) happiness, and they are no longer able to reproduce sexually due to generations of inbreeding or cloning, so they chose us as good candidates for merging their DNA with. The majority of abductee accounts corroborate this, as well as much alleged whistleblower testimony from multiple high-level sources, including the former Canadian Minister of Defense, Paul Hellyer.
After the Roswell crash and subsequent interrogation of their race, the greys made a deal with the US govt to trade their technology in return for un-interrupted access to random humans for abduction/genetic reproduction purposes. Soon, they overstepped their bounds, but there was nothing the govt could really do about it other than be upset.
Meanwhile, other races are doing their shit whatever that happens to be. Races other than the greys are smaller on the pie chart of close encounters, but they are significant, and corroborative. There is, believe it or not, strong evidence to suggest that there is some loose treaty among the races that visit us, whereby a certain amount of exploitation is allowed, but if certain races cross a threshold, they will be dealt with, by the good aliens. (lol, I know, please.... I did not come to this conclusion lightly. I know that it sounds like a lazy re-hash if the bible's description of angels and demons, or any religions description of protectors and villainous spirits, but whatever. That's where the evidence points, as far as I'm concerned.)
So, the greys have been recently (since the 40s) interacting with the US government. Other races probably have too, although I will not claim to know anything about that right now, other than to say I believe it.
Either way, the US govt has been reverse-engineering and developing ET technology for decades. The majority of UFO sightings are probably US military tests. I cannot stress this enough. I'm talking like at least 80% human, 20% alien. People like to jump to aliens right away, or China/Russia, but the evidence points to, mostly, the US military, and to a lesser degree, actual aliens. Not foreign governments. But anyone with a few brain cells bumping around can see why the US govt would lie about that. (I can get into this more if I have to, but this is a brief summary, so just roll with me if you can.)
The US govt, or the elites, or whatever (same thing?), have kept this a secret for as long as possible, and now, they just can't any more. But they will implement damage control protocols, including disinformation campaigns, and now, in this new paradigm, they will attempt to control the narrative. It was always only a matter of time before this all came to light in a mainstream way, and it wasn't without blood sweat and tears, but here we are. They have multiple established protocols, based on possibilities, from Plan A to Plan Z. So, the Pentagon's M.O. is to maintain control of the narrative, lest the populace in general does so for them. They are panicking, but trying their hardest, bastards that they are.
So, this is my attempt at a brief but somewhat robust summary of what I believe to be going on. Please feel free to weigh in and discuss in the comments. :)
