If you analyze the nature of many successful people and what they might have in common, you'd find an enterprising attitude, and no reluctance to grab every opportunity that comes their way. There is a famous saying: "If opportunity doesn't knock, build a door". As a global community, we have been faced with unprecedented challenges since the beginning of 2020, which has resulted in several lost opportunities for each one of us - be it professional or personal. Have your circumstances in the recent past made you think about how to navigate, gain back these lost opportunities or create new and alternative ones? Has staying confined to the secure boundaries of your home made you feel restricted to and devoid of chances to explore your professional and personal desires? The most likely answer is YES. So how can one get over physical, geographical or logistical barriers of their present circumstances, in order to make the best use of their skills, abilities and potential? In my talk, I try to answer this question in depth - through my own experiences, which started off as recreation, led to advocacy and has impacted more than five thousand people, globally, today. I reiterate, nothing you want to achieve tomorrow can be halted by what or who you are today - all it takes is determination and an unwavering desire for more. All it takes is that ONE OPPORTUNITY.
