Great Nnachi is a professional pole vaulter born in Turin from Nigerian parents. She is sixteen and has done the Italian Record of pole vault. This has, however, been recognized only after a legal fight with the Federation, which she won thanks to her coach Luciano Gemmello. In fact, Great does not have the Italian Citizenship and this has caused many problems to her career.

On the stage of the TEDxLuiss, Great speaks about the story of her family, focusing on how the loss of her father influenced her life. She speaks about the difficulties, linked to her Nigerian origins, encountered during the course of her professional career as pole vaulter and of what recharge means to her.
