With so much happening all at once and the possibility of actual disclosure to some degree in the relatively near future, I was starting to wonder what a conclusion like "We know that they've been visiting this planet for at least a few millenia." could really entail. I've always been intrigued at the idea that these potential beings, or at least some of them, are simply scientists and explorers on a cosmic scale. Just like a person on earth traveling thousands of miles to study undocumented species in the Amazon, they're traveling across star systems to document each species on every planet with life.
This just got me wondering what kind of information we could possibly gain from them about prehistoric earth. Imagine if they made some sort of contact with species that we didn't even know existed. Or the possibility of them having actual visual records of those species and what earth was like in those times. Anyone else ever think about this stuff?
I know this is pretty far down the speculative rabbit hole but I think it's to entertain ideas of what could be possible because at this point, nothing really seems off the table.
