Truth Be Told

Truth be told: I was walking in the opposite direction, stopped cold in my tracks, turned around and when I set my eyes on the sky it appeared, traversed the sky in a crescent shape-like trajectory (from the 2 o'clock position down to the 7) in a matter of just one or two seconds then disappeared without a trace.

I'm not claiming I'm special or anything like that.. I was just walking out to my truck, parked out front of my home. I find it very peculiar I stopped (I don't know why) and turned around 180° and it appeared right as I set my eyes on the sky. If I would have looked a second early, or a second late, I would have missed it, I guess.

It was super low in altitude, about 40° from the horizon, but so damn bright (it was 6pm) I couldn't make out the shape (guessing spherical) but what I witnessed was undeniable.

I live in a very heavily populated area in West Houston. At that time, obviously people were out, coming home from work etc.. I'm not saying I'm the only one who saw it, but goddamn it felt personal and I can't stop thinking about it.. I have a lot more empathy now for people who've seen and reported phenomenal encounters

I'm still a skeptic to a large extent but definitely more curious. No I don't have video or cellphone footage–I haven't had a cellphone for 3 years. Anyway, I'm the lone witness as far as I can tell. This happened end of May sometime, like the last week of May. I can't believe I didn't even right down the date on the day it happened. There are a lot of things I didn't do which I think I normally would if I just seen a freaking UFO up close and personal! It's like I was stupefied. First person I told was my mother 2 weeks later. Then after thinking about all this for the last month, mind you, this has been a very weird month to see a UFO, I finally submitted a hurried NUFORC report (I wish I could write it over again, I didn't edit it, it was too long). And, then later MUFON, after hearing Dietrich's convo with M West. She made a very good point about the necessity in reporting UFO's for safety reasons.

I'm in a part of Houston with two international airports and regional airports all over (the closest to me is 7 miles so I see planes approach at low altitude over my house all the time). So,, story is I can rule out airplanes, drones, meteors (bc altitude, size), ball lightning (unless ball lightning can be red), some sort of reflection or other natural phenomena.. I don't know, please feel free to pick my brain on this, ask questions, field suggestions... I'm kind of new to the topic, never even seen ancient aliens. Only got interested in the topic post NYT article and after watching two seasons of History Channel's Unidentified and Secret of Skinwalker Ranch.

Honestly, I didn't feel threatened at all. But, after hearing wild shit from people on the subject I'm mildly concerned. I'm at a loss as to what the intent was to reveal itself that way, that day. I do have some health problems, rheumatological stuff, would be pretty fucking sweet if they could cure that shit for me. Anyways, I'm rambling now and getting way too personal.

This is a long post, I'm too damn tired to read through it again and edit. Hopefully it doesn't sound dumb as dog shit...
