Time travel and deception, being led to misinterpretation .

Food for thought.

As I understand it, the others see time differently. They say we don't understand it, thinking it might be possible to travel forward or backward. They say only now exists, and it's ongoing.

In the beginning our physical reality was set in motion, everything interacting and affecting everything else, changing & evolving, a one way trajectory, forward., we are always in the now.

People have a fairly uniform sense of the passage of time. Sometimes it seems to drag, like Friday afternoons or sleepless nights, and sometimes it seems to go too quickly, like vacation time or when we're having some serious fun, or when we get old, lol.

If you've ever experienced real time dilation, maybe in intense combat, or from being altered by a high fever or under the influence of whatever, you get a glimpse of how they use time. Time seems to slow way way down, everything happens in extreme slow motion except you. You have time to see what's happening and respond, if you're able. things in motion appear to be moving very slowly. What's happened is you have sped up, all of your perceptions, processing and reactions.

Imagine being able to stretch or shrink the ongoing moment we call now as long as you need, or speed it up considerably to have it pass much faster. Say you need to do a day's work in an hour. You could get a lot done. To other people you would appear to be moving at an unbelievable rate.

That's as close as I can come to describing what I understand of how they see and use time. They don't mind that we don't understand, they prefer it, they're deceptive. Us wasting time and resources trying to figure out time travel is just fine.

They say time travel in a physical body in physical reality is hypothetical and always has been. It is only possible in our mental world or in spirit. The past is gone and the future is yet to happen.

We can study the past to get a sense where it's headed, but anything can happen, so no matter how good we are we can't guarantee the future will be this thing or that for certain. Or that there will be a future. Tomorrow is not guaranteed.

They say they've had FTL travel with no relativistic effects since before we existed. They can manipulate matter as if it was energy--which it is. They can appear to disappear and reappear. Our understanding of space-time and matter-energy, e.g. physics, is imperfect.
