I’m away at college but last night my mother called me and told me she and her boyfriend saw something really bizarre in the sky at night. Unfortunately, her phone camera is crap, her boyfriend’s phone was dead, and it was dark out. But hearing her talk about it freaked me out.
She said she saw a straight line of large lights in the sky. Like stars, but bigger and brighter. She also said one looked more red. Apparently, while she was struggling to get a better look at them and shining her phone flashlight up towards them, they started moving away in a “snake-like” manner, as she put it, one after the other, moving as a unit. As they moved away and apparently upwards, they faded from her line of sight.
At one point, I’d always wished I’d get to see a UFO someday for myself because I found the prospect of extraterrestrials visiting Earth exciting, but hearing this account of her experience gave me the creeps. I can’t explain why, but I’m kind of glad I wasn’t there to see whatever it was that she saw.
