Hello, years ago I experienced something truly terrifying in my sleep that has since altered my understanding of consciousness. It occurred as follows: A few hours into my sleep it seemed like dreams were being queued into my mind, but kept disconnecting. When they disconnected a static similar to that on a tv with no signal occurred. This happened several times and I was mindful enough to ask myself what’s happening here. As the failure persisted a menacing and robotic voice seemed to vibrate at the top of my head down throughout my body. It repeated three times “we control you. “ What happened next was just as strange. Being terrified I instinctively felt the need to wake my wife sleeping next to me. However, I woke up outside of my body and saw the bedroom and her sleeping next to me. Once again being aware I was not in my body I then woke up physically. Conscious outside of my body appeared somewhat two dimensional.
This was nothing like a dream within a dream experience. This was something wholly new and terrifying.
I hate to say I’ve read some of David Icke for explanation, but was wondering if anyone else had this experience and can share.
