Your opinion on whether the CIA new release is a hoax or nah

I was reading a couple opinions on Facebook of people who shared this link http://ift.tt/1Sir4Ic

I personally do really believe in the star people so when I logged into Facebook this evening I was like "SAWEEET 2016 here we come" and then I read a couple articles and felt like it wasn't totally sincere and the discussions a lot of people are getting into that I read were "This is fake. They only are doing this for a distraction because of the new X-Files episodes." while others are just excited about aliens. I figured I would consult the reddit oracle.
