Anyone else depressed over the limited scope of our space program? Find yourself wishing you were born 1000 years from now to see many of the wonders that lie out there? Or that at least some revolutionary breakthrough in propulsion tech would happen already?

I mean, hell man we cant even put men on our closest celestial neighbor, we dont even know if there is another planet in the back end of our own solar system? Is there microbial life on Titan or animal life in the ocean that lies under Europa's frozen surface? We dont know that either because we spend more on maintaining the White House lawn than we out into the space program ugh. The New Horizens trip to Pluto was fascinating, but I want that sort of thing weekley, I want to see alien life, shit It would just be nice if we had optics advanced enough just to get clear HD pictures of planets orbiting other stars. Its such a frustrating time to be alive, so many questions, no answers...
