Alien megastructure information and signs of life orbiting Alpha Centauri

While researching a space related topic, I came across two links that I think belong here.

The first link is related to the giant alien megastructure around the star KIC 8462852.

1 - A KickStarter.com campaign titled "Where's The Flux?". It is a funding campaign being managed by astronomers trying to figure out if aliens did indeed build something round that star or not. The money goes to "telescope time".

And the second link is related to Alpha Centauri.

2 - Researchers are saying that Alpha Centauri (the closest star(s) to our sun) may have a habitable planet(s) with life orbiting the binary system.
