Securing a commercial license for a NASA patent

Hi NASA ;)

I have an idea which utilizes one of your recently released patents. The idea is one I've had for a long time, but requires some fancy new tech. I was astonished to see the exact tech that I had envisioned already developed and well described in the patent. I was so thrilled and then it hit me, I'm a Canadian citizen.

I would like to use the patent technology as a sub component in a larger design to produce what I believe would be a widely used commercial infrastructure product capable of delivering high amounts (intuitive assumption) of renewable for municipalities worldwide.

Thought I would ask the all knowing reddit community what my first step should be :)
