Where does the idea that the Annunaki were aliens that created humans come from?

So the source is from a Sumerian tablet but which ones? I only know of the Epic of Gilgamesh but when I look up Sumerian creation myths and annunaki all I find are conspiracy sites. None of them actually name the tablet of which this theory comes from.

I want to read it myself from a valid source like a history website or museum with a side by side translation to English with no alien agenda.
