The Legacy of the Hyperborea

Introduction

For a couple years, I've partaken in astral projection, channeling, and research learning progressively more about an extraterrestrial race that I have called the Hyperborea. That is not their actual name, but it makes things easier to comprehend and remember when I can link real things to things somewhat beyond my comprehension. They are not necessarily the mythological Hyperborea, but they do share some traits.

This is a summary of what I know about their past and their future plans for humanity. There's a lot more to it, this is just a basic summary. I'll try and explain it the best I can, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask them.

The Hyperborea

The Rise

The Hyperborea started as a race before life before Earth life even began to live on land. Their physiology is remarkably like ours, or rather ours is like theirs, but we'll get to that later. Their planet itself was fairly cold in climate relative to Earth, but along the equatorial band it was more temperate.

Their advancement was similar to ours in many respects. At their peak the Hyperborea were several centuries more advanced than we are now. Not just technologically, but spiritually as well. At their peak they were a Type III on the Kardashev scale. They spread across the Milky Way and neighboring galaxies, terraforming hundreds of planets, building Dyson spheres and other structures around many stars. They were practically ageless as well. They were the apex race of our local galactic group, no other race since has ever managed to reach the levels they did. Their empire lasted for millions of years.

Many modern astronomers have discovered stars that have irregular changes in luminosity. The light behaves as if something were built all around it in a sphere formation. When humanity begins to explore the galaxy fully, we'll discover that these are the remains of Dyson spheres built by the Hyperborea.

I say remains, because the Hyperborea fell. When I say fell, they really fell in a horrific way.

The Fall

The Hyperborea wanted to go farther and reach the full limits of reality. if you know about the Great Filter, you'll know that there are different barriers that can be passed. Organic matter becomes unicellular life, unicellular life becomes multicellular life, multicellular life becomes intelligent life. The latter would be where humanity is currently at now, but we're crossing into the next barrier, post scarcity life. Technology has the potential to provide for everyone's basic needs and allow for life to become more than just survival. Their population was in the trillions

The Hyperborea were about to cross the barrier from post scarcity to the next level, godhood. Complete ascension of the limits of the corporeal. To put it into simpler terms, this required a lot of energy and conscious thought to be directed towards one thing. Long story short, it failed horribly. This was not necessarily the fault of the Hyperboreans, these kinds of things tend to go unstable very quickly.

The instability spread out like a massive shock wave across the collective consciousness of the Hyperborea. It affected them spiritually and physically, even their own planets suffered. New diseases and maladies suddenly appeared and killed millions. Magnetic poles shifted suddenly, causing huge earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, etc. Mass hysteria spread like wildfire, people became all kinds of paranoid, delusional, and suicidal.

In the end, around 99% of the Hyperborean population were dead. Those that survived fled in any way they could. Many of them were a far cry from the spiritual advancement of the Hyperborea and were unstable in their own ways. What was left of their planets was looted and/or colonized mercilessly by the extraterrestrial empires that eventually arose. Not much of it remains, but it is certainly still there.

The Rebuilding

Ever since the Fall, the Hyperborea that remained have tried in their own ways to rebuild what had been lost. Their numbers have improved, but not by much. They've certainly never reached anywhere really close to their peak. This is worsened by the fact that most Hyperboreans are infertile, have no libido, or their children end up mysteriously dying at a very young age.

There are several different factions that have their own strategies for the aftermath of the Fall. There are variations within each faction, and each one is still pretty loosely connected. Their actual names I could not gather, so I chose mnemonics that will suffice. These are the main ones:

The Dreamers These are the ones who chose to build what we would call Matrioshka Brains to simulate their own realities. They linked their minds to it so they could retreat into their own paradise. In their minds, the race is lost and they might as well become Hedonists.

The Marauders As I mentioned before, many of the remaining Hyperborea were at least somewhat insane. These are by far the most insane of the remnants. They crave violence and domination and conquer other races and force them into serfdom. Many of them have even attacked other Hyperborean factions, further holding back any rebuilding efforts.

The Simplers When I say simple, I don't mean it in a necessarily intellectual sense, but a lifestyle sense. The Simpler believes that the greatest Hyperborean mistake was reliance on technology. They seek a simpler life of subsistence farming, hard work, and a short but productive life. They are by far the most spiritual of the factions. The few Hyperboreans that were actually fertile at all ended up in this faction.

The Farmers These are the ones that have interacted with Earth. The Farmers want to seed new Hyperboreans on planets similar to their original planet. The Earth happens to be the closest of the viable planets they found. They guided our evolution towards us being almost exactly like the Hyperborea.

They've also made efforts to guide our culture towards theirs, but this has met with limited success. Their ultimate goal is for humanity to carry on their legacy by thriving as they did.

Conclusion
