As a child, I lived out in Bay Shore, Long Island. I had experienced a lot of paranormal stuff from an early age but this is my only experience dealing with something like this and I would love to know if anyone else has experienced something similar: I was 12 or 13, playing outside at dusk across the street from a water facility which had a big stretch of sky over it. The sun was already down and the sky was that soft glowly light color. It was summer. I stop playing tag and point up so my little sis and friend can see what I see. Its a ball of orange/amberish light, just sitting there mysteriously in the sky. As we watch it, it slowly hovers across the skyline and begins to change shape, getting longer, squarer, rounder again. Then it hovers and suddenly shoots off out of sight. We look at each other, frightened and when we look again, its hovering across the sky again as if it had never left. I said, Im outta here and my sis and I ran all the way home.
Anyone else see anything like this? This took place about 20 years ago.
