What are all the possibilities of a light in the sky?

I saw a light in the sky the other day, and it was moving in strange patterns and such. Obviously I was compelled to think it was possibly a UFO.

What else could it have been (that's explainable and possible)? Helicopter? Atmosphere stuff?
