DEISM DEFINED
How Noah Webster's Dictionary Defined American English, and His Own Views. Arthur Schulman's book is called "Websterisms. Besides the very obvious bias attitude Webster's definition on Deism clearly shows towards self professing Deists this link gives a respected scholars perspective on Noah Webster that shows he hated the Deists of his day. His hatred for Deists created a bias definition of the word Deism. People grouping together under a common understanding of "whatever IT is that the ALL comes from". Lets not be hypocrites like the active Atheists who say they're not a religion when in fact they are if they want the rest of the world to think like them on matters God. Active Atheism literally "seek people out in true Mormon fashion" (so do I as an active pure Deist to get people to embrace Deism,but I admit it) to recruit them to their point of view. This would be fine if Atheism had something better to offer the world then the religions they hope to eliminate,but in my own opinion they don't. Deism has never been about a belief in "the gOD that went away" as all self professing Deists of antiquity believed in an active God,Thomas Paine especially. Thomas Paine by Noah Webster's very ignorant definition would not be a Deist as defined. All of his writing clearly prove his belief in an active Force that mankind calls God. You can't read his work and not know this yet many seemingly honest authors,or so called scholars don't know this. When you realize all rational people know that all of Life comes from Something you see that Webster's definition of Deism really belongs to the Atheist who refuse to use the word God for Whatever started the ALL. The word God assumes intelligence and "ALL Atheists believe there is no intelligence behind the designs" (they could be right) found in Nature. They're the ones who believe in the gOD that went away as this is their unprovable faith. Deism is a path of understanding whatever IT is the ALL comes from that the billions of us call God. "The true word of God is the Creation we behold" this is Deism as defined by Thomas Paine. Those who believe there's no intelligence behind the design are just as much Deists as those who believe there is intelligence behind the design. Again it's not about ones faith because Deism is all about a path of understanding. More videos will be made as this, "Atheist being Deists too" thought can be confusing for many different reasons.
