So I was just leaving my house on the way to the store to grab a couple things and when I looked right to turn left, I say about a dozen red lights up in the sky.
I immediately drive back home to watch them. They appeared to be heading east-southeast very high up. They made no audible noise (not surprising due to their distance) but were easily over a hundred miles away.
The lights were just small red-orange lights that flickered but never went to dim until either they dimmed out or the light pollution from the city drowned out the lights. There were 11 in total but my number may be off. They were not flying in any kind of formation, but they did appear to be in an arrow pattern at first. They likely were going different velocities relative to each other. They all died or within 10- 15 second of each other and were visible for at least two minutes after I first noticed them.
Did anyone else catch these?
