1) I choose to, because "normal" life is not worth the trouble.
2) Part of the idea behind disclosure involves raising the collective consciousness of humanity and promoting peace. Even if there are no aliens at all, promoting peace is something humanity needs.
3) Many people have revealed information about the same stuff from their perspective. Many whistleblowers.
4) You have to give conspirators a chance. Remember those shows where something strange happens, one character knows the details, but nobody listens? Yeah. Also, there are large organizations dedicated to discrediting these theorists in order to prevent disclosure.
5) Remote viewing is a thing and it is well known now that governments specially train people to remote view into other countries for information. So why not remote view the moon and search for a huge lunar operations command center?
But what is truly important is, no matter what is true, we improve as a species. I hope to see humanity in unity by the end of my life (preferably sooner). Spirituality actually applies in some form when it comes to a lot of this alien stuff.
Also a side note: They say there is a form of inhibitor field around earth which has been set by a certain species of alien that does not like us. It prevents us from spiritually evolving, and contributes to the chaos we see every day. Every night before you go to bed, promise yourself that, if this thing exists, you will not let it prevent you from being a pure and empathetic being.
