Hello all from the mods. We're really happy to see how much our community has grown. Thank you!
As a reminder please try keep posts in line with our "mission statement":
/r/NASA is for anything related to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, the latest news, events, current mission and future missions and more.
There are some awesome subs for non-NASA related space topics (like /r/space, /r/Astronomy, /r/spacex, etc.), so please consider whether your post would be more appropriate there.
We know that this is an interesting time in the US, and topics will from time to time occasionally drift into political discussions. As long as the discussions are kept civil, don't deteriorate into personal attacks, or don't otherwise become irrelevant to /r/nasa, we'll tolerate them. However, this is not a political sub and if things get out of hand in the opinion of the mods, we will take what actions are necessary to keep things peaceful.
One final note: Please try to bear in mind that we have many young people visiting here. Be tolerant of their questions, and please refrain from using NSFW language. We're not going to remove every post that contains "adult" language, but we'd like to keep our community friendly.
