7th Grade

This happened to a few friends and I. We were staying at one of my friends place, lets call her Kendra. Kendra's mother didn't care what we did or where we went, or even what time it was when we left or got back to her house. Now in the 7th Grade that was the best thing ever, but looking back on it now it was very dangerous. Anyways, Kendra and I decided to meet my other friend, she'll be called Sam. We decided to meet at an Elementary school near by and hangout there, it was around 2am. At this time in my life I was very interested in aliens, so I was researching about them. Now that week I had found out that there was claims of aliens that had a light on their chest, they could fly, and when spotted zoomed out of sight (This will come in handy soon). Now since Sam, Kendra and I were at the Elementary school we decided that we should just hangout on the merry go round. Our backs were on the cold metal and our eyes were watching the stars. We all took notice in a "Falling Star" we had started talking about what we would wish for, we were now facing each other our eyes off the sky. I had gotten a weird feeling as Sam had said "I would wish for ice cream, because when isn't ice cream a good choice" that "Falling Star" was not a falling star. Because now it was about 10 ft above us, I could make out a humanoid shape in the darkness as it came closer and closer. My friends had notice that I wasn't paying attention, they too look at the sky. We were all frozen watching the glowing orb slowly make it's way to us. After it was about 7ft above us I snapped out of it and yelled at them to run, they listen, we were running to a tree that was on the other side of the play ground. I had looked back to see if it was following us, and it was. But this time it was going fast, I yelled at them to lay on the ground and to cover their heads. I don't know why I said that, but they did it, and so did I. We felt a rush of wind zoom above us, I looked up to see the orb going back into the star lit night. It was gone within seconds. Sam went home and Kendra and I went back to her mother house. We didn't speak of what had happened. Not until about a year ago, I had asked Kendra only because I wanted to make sure it was not a dream, it wasn't. She remembers everything. Has anyone else had this happen to them? I am now a Senior in high school, I have more questions than answers. Why did it choose us? Why didn't it chase us, but most importantly.. What was it really?
