I was doing my EMR course today and I realized something. A lot of our first aid techniques would be ineffective in space. Sure some things could be modified (i.e. Chest compressions could be done with the Heimlich maneuver) but what about a lot of other things? There is no recovery position, AED convulsions would be more violent, and a host of other problems.
I'm just really curious to learn if there is a zero G specific first aid course given to astronauts.
