Don't you think if aliens were here... they might only be concerned with helping us advance as quickly as possible to our next evolutionary phase, which I'm sure they have come across organic species like ourselves before in time so they know our next step as a species logically has to be cyborg, or augmented heavily, if we are to survive as a species and live multi planetary. We just need to do it slowly for whatever reason they most likely think necessary

Because isn't that what we, as fairly intelligent beings do with indigenous tribes? Why would it be different if we, right now, came across a less developed race of intelligent extra terrestrial life within distance for us to travel freely to and from and interact with.

We would show them fire wouldn't we? Or the wheel. How to fly.

So they have to be here. Maybe in their experience it has a negative effect on a warring, inter-turmoil type of life form such as 'humans'. It would prob have blown our minds until recently if they announced them selves to the entire planet all at once

And alien abductions is absolutely something we would do if we could do it I dont think any one can argue about that
