What if we are alone in the universe, not because aliens aren't real, but because they are all dead. What if we are the last species of intelligent lifeforms in the universe. A whole intergalactic government might have existed, space might have swarmed with life and union among species. We may be lost in this empty void, long after the golden age of the universe. All alone, missed out on all the action.
