Can someone explain this Pattern and that green something on this NASA Jupiter Image?

I highlighted the pattern with lines in Software so you better know what i mean. And what the heck is this strange green thing in the upper right corner? Heres the editoed and original picture and the link to the source on the @NASA servers:
