So I have been trying to create some sort of webpage to attract donations to NASA and I am trying to find some previous statistics. It is to my knowledge that there are two ways to donate to NASA:
1) Send a check to NASA headquarters with this printed and attached: https://nodis3.gsfc.nasa.gov/npg_img/N_PD_1210_001G_/N_PD_1210_001G__main.pdf
2) Pay directly through this website: https://www.nssc.nasa.gov/PayGov/PayGovRequest.html (with all ID's being "DONATION")
It is also to my knowledge that NASA MUST keep everything "open-book" and transparent, no matter how insignificant the proportion is. Unfortunately, through all my research I have failed to find statistics on the amounts that NASA has received throughout the years.
Has anyone ever encountered or have found such statistics regarding amounts that have been donated to NASA throughout the years? If so, is there a link to the data? If not, is there a reason why such information is not found (cause aren't they by law required to disclose it)?
