My amateur edit of NASA Cassini mission footage of Saturn’s rings ended up on CBS Star Trek Discovery S02E01:)

A few months ago I made a video homage to NASA’s Cassini Saturn mission and combined two different non-sequential raw image shots of Saturn’s rings to achieve this effect: https://imgur.com/gallery/2pLeszA/

My clip appears in the first minute of CBS Star Trek Season 2, Episode 1: Burnam's monologue beginning "Space, the Final Frontier..." https://www.cbs.com/shows/star-trek-discovery/video/Lj3JUIb4TP5vkuiDIW6iyJpXFfagqB2q/star-trek-discovery-brother/

You can also find the exact sequence used in the Star Trek Discovery TV episode at 1:39 in my Cassini video homage published 3 months ago: https://vimeo.com/293924520/description

Of course the NASA images I animated are public domain, but am a bit miffed that a mainstream network like CBS did not even deign to credit NASA for the footage it used, let alone small fry like me. It does feel very cool to have a personal Easter egg on a TV show you grew up on, and, most importantly, I have just earned some serious street cred with my kids:)
