So I recently heard an idea that the pyramid may have been used in a way that produced nitrogen gas which shot out of the sides of the Pyramid by combining certain chemicals in the lower chambers of the pyramid. Nitrogen would escape the small tunnels that lead to the sides of the pyramid and could be set on fire as it escaped. The flame could be sustained as long as the chemical reaction in the lower chambers was sustained.
Now, the byproduct of burning nitrogen gas is nitrogen triflouride, an extremely strong greenhouse gas, which leads me to my idea. What if the pyramid is truly as old as the last ice age, and was built in order to change the climate and make it more livable in other places around the world. The change in the climate made much of the ice that surrounded the earth melt and lead to The Great Flood which is spoken of in so many religions.
I'm not sure if this has been thought of before, but the idea was exciting enough I wanted to share it. I know it is way outside acceptable ideas of archaeology and would require a lot of rewriting of history, and that's highly unacceptable apparently.
