Spoken Jazz excerpts from the sacred Gnostic Codices of the Nag Hammadi library archives. The authors and date of composition are unknown… however a cultural milieu of second or third century Alexandria is likely. The Coptic text was originally composed in Greek, well before 350 C.E.

This paradoxical monologue is attributed to the Divine Creatrix… “Sophia.” The Gnostic Sophia is a divine feminine figure… analogous to Gaia, the great mother, the feminine aspect of the Hindu Shiva, etc. She personifies the human soul, but simultaneously embodies the feminine “emanation” of the revelation of God's inward thought. She manifests the formation and ordering of the natural Universe and communicates wisdom and knowledge to humanity.
