Just a thought.

I had a conversation the other day in dealing with the concept of infinity and the Fermi paradox.

Why is it that we as people are more inclined to think that extra-terrestrial life is far more advanced than us in terms of technology or have a different physiology than us. If the primary components that make up human life are the same as 97% of the same atoms that make up the very galaxy we live in, who is to say that the version of life that we see all around us is the only conceivable way that life does form, perhaps there’s a world millions or billions of light years away that have a parallel existence to us neither have the means to know if each other exist. Maybe the way that our conscionable existence forms is special, but with limited or no variability of how it functions across the vast cosmos.
