Experts recently unearthed a wild artifact beneath the giant Easter Island heads. Today, we take a look at what experts have discovered underneath the giant Easter Island heads.

When Europeans first arrived on the island of Rapa Nui, known more commonly as the Easter Islands back in 1722, they were surprised to find a small tribal population of only around two to three thousand responsible for impossible to explain megalithic statues.

When questioning the native population, they seemed just as confused and unknowing of the construction processes surrounding the Easter Island Heads as their new visitors. This has led to some interesting discoveries being made over the years.
