This seems to be a recurring opinion that gets posted semi- occasionally and I just want to make a few observations that counter why this most likely is not the case.
Firstly this gets mentioned a lot of times when people post about encounters that include a transfer of knowledge or a human-alien encounter that includes a warning about our technology and how we disregard the power we have.
Ok. I should also say I am ASSUMING these contact events are real. And I do honestly believe some cases have happened.
Point 1. You don't have to be from the future to know we are fucking our planet up. I know it. You probably know it. Scientists have been saying it for decades. We don't need a message from the future.
Point 2. Everything that we know about physics and quantum physics says we cannot send anything back in time. No way. No how. Sorry. Not a physical thing, not even a quantum message. Restricted from happening in this physical reality.
Point 3. Let's say you COULD go back in time. The reality you came from would either (most likely) not change or possibly cease to exist. There wouldn't be a congratulatory job well done party when you got home. There wouldn't be a home. It would be like us trying to save the dinosaurs. But in a different universe. I mean like dimensionally different. And we would never even know about it. The act would be totally futile. A complete and utter waste of resources.
Point 4. Ok. Let's assume you COULD send a message back and it WOULD change your own future. You wouldn't keep going back throughout the ages. Like how aliens have been visiting us for at least decades probably thousands of years. You would nail down a specific fourth dimensional (time) point. And you would keep going to that point until you got the effect you wanted. If anything (linearly) you would go backwards more. Assuming you didn't go back far enough to begin with.
In closing, it's for these reasons I don't believe the time travelling future human hypothesis. Having said that I would never discourage anyone from their ideas and I love open discussion. I am a believer. Not a debunker. And I pray for the day of full and honest disclosure. And if you are reading this extraterrestrials; I would love to meet you and you are welcome to my home any time.......just try not to jump scare me. Or lean around a corner ominously. Lol
