Cahills Crossing is considered the most dangerous water crossing location in all of Australia. It is infamous for the hundreds of saltwater crocodiles that hunt there. This feeding ground is located in the northern territory on the East Alligator River in the eastern section of Kakadu National Park.

The crossing leads into Arnhem Land, which is an aboriginal reserve. You need a permit to enter this land. It is only open during the dry season, typically May through October, as it is too dangerous during monsoon season.
