How we as a human should act if we found other beings in other planets

First sorry for my English.

Lets say that we found other beings in other planets and they are less advanced than us. How we would act? Do we contact them do we give them our technology? Do u think that it would be different approach to them from Chinese, Russian , American or arabs ..etc
