I am from the UK.

I am proud to be British, and think we set (or try to set) a moral example to many other countries out there, however I am disappointed that UK media is not shedding light on the current situation. Our media still heavily stigmatises the topic.

In fact I saw another article earlier from one of our major newspaper's, that claimed a "string theorist thinks reaching out to ETs is a bad idea". - the article itself contained much more interesting information than this statement alone.

It seems that the UK will ignore these issues at the moment, or put a fearful/negative shade on it.

Current agenda behind this is unknown, is it either to keep the people materialistic, or is it to allow them to focus on worldly matters?

The truth is out there folks.
