The Eye of Providence or All Seeing Eye is an image of an extraterrestrial observing through a portal. The light rays that radiate out is the warp in space-time (like a black hole warping everything around it), and the Eye of Providence is always positioned above everything (usually above Earth) to get an aerial view as depicted on the U.S. dollar bill as an Eye of Providence atop a pyramid — symbolizes watching over humanity.
I also think that since it is an alien that that is why they choose to use a pyramid on the bank note. As many theorize the Egyptian pyramids were created by aliens or aided assistance to the Egyptian monarchs.
