I think that the concept of "Time" is what really makes it hard for us to think that aliens exist.

I have a really crude theory, but im so impressed by it that i thought i could share. I don't have a PhD in Physics, so i honestly can only explain my thoughts in non scientific ways and non scientific words.

If Space and Time are linked together. And Space is a proper Substance or Matter, and we know that time exists but is no physical thing, but a analogy for something happening. Then there could be the possibility that Time itself could actually be a Substance. I imagined Time as a sub part of a Atom.

Lets say we have a any atom, we have Protons,Neutrons, Electrons and a core. Inside that core we have Quarks. But what if there are "Time building blocks" somewhere, no matter if inside the core, inside the quarks or even in the electrons. Those blocks could move the integral parts of an atom. They have a starting point (which is still stand), and a end point where they accelerate with light speed.

Now when mass can warp Spacetime, maybe the so called "Time Atoms" (note : they are not actual atoms or anything related) could simply release their energy and change the direction they go. They could slow down or accelerate real fast. And that slow down, or acceleration would mean that the parent atom the time is inside, would start doing work. And that work would result in both the time building blocks getting shifted AND the space getting shifted because the Atom releases kinetic energy.

Well okay, now wheres the link to aliens in my stupid theory?

We all know that Physics is something universal in our Universe. But what if Aliens actually don't come from our universe, but from another universe and they found a way to travel in universes rather than time? Maybe in their universe, the concept of time does not even exist because those time blocks i was talking about are not aligned like in our universe. Maybe they found a way to split the time "atoms (which again have nothing in common with classic atoms we know", just like we found a way to split radioactive cores? In our case that releases a lot of energy, but maybe in their case it simply changes how time atoms work, they can increase the speed of those time building blocks which results in instant or almost instant travel. They don't need propulsion systems or energy, because they bend the time instead of using energy. Their ships don't move at all, its only the coordinates that change. So they skip a route to a destination, just as you would skip fast forwarding a movie if you simply enter the mark at where the video should start playing. This could explain why they can be at one point and go directly to the next point without even accelerating or changing a direction. They simply "beam" to where they want to be. Also many people imagine Space Time with clocks being everywhere. Well what if those CLOCKS are the "time building blocks" i just talked about. This would also explain why someone traveling at near light speed would age slower. The clocks simply get slowed down due to the mass and energy, they have an effect on the time that we measure. This again means that negative time travel would not be possible, and would even destroy the whole idea of time travel. Because they can only go forward and reach a destination in an instant.

I hope this crude bullshit theory does not trigger actual physicist reading this, its just a shower thought i had :-), and even funnier when i found out that Brian Greece almost had the same idea i just came up with after looking for a similar concept on the internet for almost 4 hours... Maybe he can describe it better with his words what i mean, because my English is complete BS and its hard to explain what i really mean, but yeah here is a time mark where he talks about what i mean :
