A Gaya-based environmental activist who with his organization MATR has innovatively recycled floral waste into dyes along with promoting Khadi in the international market. His talk motivated attendees to change their direction of thought and reflects on ways of utilization of Khadi and recycling floral wastes. With an apt quotation, “Fashion is behavior” he inspired the attendees to probe ways for sustainable fashion . His initiative, the Happy Hands Project conceived with the goal of bringing sustainable employment to women by repurposing floral waste to make natural dye for fabrics is making headway in sustainable development.
