NOTE FROM TED: This talk only represents the speaker's personal spiritual beliefs. TEDx events are independently organized by volunteers. The guidelines we give TEDx organizers are described in more detail here: http://storage.ted.com/tedx/manuals/tedx_content_guidelines.pdf

What if we could learn and talk about God in a way that created connection and dialogue rather than division and argument?  Angela Hummel suggests a new method for thinking about questions and ideas about Love through Art Theology. Even if we do not believe in God or agree about ideas about God we can find a way to dialogue about this subject that leads to connection and expands our ideas about Love.  Angela Hummel is an interdisciplinary artist, writer, and educator. Angela has spent the past decade working on creating the method of Art Theology. Art Theology uses the creative languages of the arts to explore ideas and questions about God and Love. The Art Theology Method is based on a contemplative, collaborative, and dialogic pedagogy that seeks to connect people and expand our ideas of Love. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
