I see a lot of people say that if the government admits that UFOs are verifiably of extraterrestrial origin, society would collapse.
There are so many problems with this, and it’s exactly the gatekeeping mindset that put us in the mess we’re in now where info has to be drip fed to us.
The worst part of this is the mindset of “Yeah, sure I could handle the information... but other people? No way. Only myself and a few select people could hear the government say what most of us already assume to be true. Everyone else would murder each other and jump off bridges!”
That’s not how it works. The government has already told society that they acknowledge UFOs and we don’t know or understand their origin. And you know what happened to society? Nothing. Nobody cares.
Us enthusiasts who find it interesting get some information, and the rest of the world continues as normal.
In order to think you can handle information and others can’t requires you to think of others as weak and pathetic. This is how certain members of the government think about us. And this is why we have waited 70+ years for truth to start coming out.
Even if everyone except you can’t handle the info and it “collapses society”, then let it be. I’d rather society collapse due to truth and knowledge over it slowly collapsing due to lies, deceit, and the government thinking they know what’s best for us.
If a society as large as ours collapses, it can rebuild. It’s not like it’d be the end of the world. But that’s all irrelevant. Because no one here or in government is so much above the rest of society. We just aren’t. So can we get rid of the gatekeeping mindset?
