In this talk, Dr. Robert Quimby shares his latest research on certain stellar events called supernovae. He explores their causes and effects, along with their use to astronomers. Dr. Robert Quimby is the Director of the Mount Laguna Observatory and Professor of Astronomy at San Diego State University. He has received the Trumpler Award and the Hyer Award for his research.
