Does anyone else remember a major broadcast intrusion with a speech about alien bases?

I've tried so many times to find info on this or someone else who had seen it, but have never been successful.

One night, circa 2008, I had the TV on in the background waiting for Saturday Night Live to come on (so after 11pm PST). I'm not sure exactly what channel it was, it had SNL on it but I don't think it was NBC (may have been a Canadian channel).

When I went to the channel, there was a black and white video playing of a man giving a speech. He talked about how humanity was working with aliens. He said that humans and aliens have shared bases on the Moon. At one point he was boo'd by the audience, but then he said that he can only share the truth whether you like it or not.

I don't remember everything else about this video, but it continued on for about 2 HOURS. At first I thought it was a joke but it eventually became clear someone had hijacked the station. I later learned this is called a 'signal intrusion'.

I was just getting into conspiracies at the time so it seriously freaked me out. But I find it even stranger that no one ever talks about it.
